QUICK VISITOR GUIDE
So you’ve heard about Journey of Faith and you want to check out the church. We've posted some frequently asked questions:
What times are services on Sunday?
During the summer, the location, days and times of our worship services will vary. Check out our calendar of events for additional information. Pickup a worship bulletin and enter into worship with us. (We won't make you stand up and say your name.)
What are your worship services like?
We worship in a variety of settings (traditional and contemporary) with a mix of worship arts. We're a casual, welcoming community. Four elements make up our Sunday gathering: worship, preaching, prayer, and communion.
How long is the worship service?
We will be done in about 60-75 minutes. On most Sundays, we serve refreshments after the worship service and you're welcome to stay and share healthy snacks or a light meal.
How should I dress?
Wear whatever is comfortable for you. Most people dress casual. You being you is more important to us than what you wear.
Where do I go?
The sanctuary has two entrances. The main entrance is in the front of the building; a volunteer greeter will meet you at the door to direct you to the worship area. You can also enter the building using the side entrance (up the ramp) in the back parking lot.
What about my kids?
We have a childcare program every Sunday for children under 5 years old. We want to provide a fun and safe environment for kids to learn about Jesus.
We encourage older students to attend the worship service at 10:30 because there's something special about gathering with the whole faith community – it's a "Jesus kind of thing to do."
Several times during the year, older students can also participate in activities designed especially for them. Either way, we're glad to be together worshiping and celebrating our Most Holy God.

Where's the coffee?
We do love our coffee! After worship, follow the crowd to our Fellowship area where the coffee's been brewing. Sometimes, in the summer, there's an ice cream cart filled with coffee-flavored treats and other goodies to cool you off. And, during the winter, it's nice to relax with a hot cup of java in front of the fireplace with new friends.
How can I get involved in the church's ministries without joining the church?
It's a good question. You don't have to be a member to get involved with the ministries at Journey of Faith.
Maybe, God is placing you where you are right now, in service only, in relationship to your family and friends. (And, that's ok!).
There's a challenge in marrying "good works" with the effort of growing and deepening our faith as part of a community — and that's important to pursue too. We think the boldest, most innovative and hardest thing to do is join a group of ordinary people trying to live out their faith by journeying together.
Either way, just let us know what you're passionate about and we'll figure out something together.
I have more questions. Where can I get answers?
You can call our church staff at 734.971.4245 or send an email to: email@example.com.
We hope you enjoy your time here!
