Children

We love the space where faith and children intersect.  The heart of our faith formation ministry is to see God for who He is, to have children see themselves the way God sees them, and to love others the way God loves us.

We want to help parents build a solid foundation for their child's faith journey and guide kids toward a growing and deepening relationship with God.

We hope kids get a powerful glimpse of the kind of relationship God desires with us by understanding and practicing the ways Jesus lived and shared everything about his life with God.  Out of intimacy, like that, comes a revelation of who God is, who we are and what we're made to do.

What to Expect for Preschoolers — We want them to know three things about God by the time they're ready for Kindergarten:

o   God Made Me

o   God Loves Me

o   Jesus wants to be My Friend Forever

What to Expect for Elementary Students — We want them to recognize three powerful truths modeled by Jesus:

o   I need to make the wise choice

o   I can trust God no matter what

o   I should treat others the way I want to be treated

What to Expect for Middle and High School Students — We want to help them begin to take ownership of their faith through three basic principles:

o   Love God because He will never stop loving me

o   Follow Jesus because He knows me better than I know myself

o   Live out God’s story so others can know who Jesus is

On your way home, be sure to ask your child, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?”  It’s our hope that every child has positive answers to both questions!
