It all starts with God’s love

As a community of faith, it is our privilege to love all — even when the world is an unloving place. We welcome all because God welcomes us, regardless of our questions, complexities, mistakes and all those things that divide us.

A community of faith bearing Christ’s name can be an agent of transformation, forgiveness and humility. That calling puts us on a journey of justice, peacemaking and a celebration of every life.

Christ has made us one to share a living, daring confidence in God's grace — that confidence starts to stir up a faith with and rooted in God’s love. We invite you to join us on the journey.

"Love one another.  In the same way I loved you, you love one another. — John 13:34

We’re hosting the Warming Center (Dec. 3-14, 2018)

Journey of Faith is hosting the warming center (9:00-4:00) to give those who live on the streets some relief from the cold and rain. A partnership between M.I.S.S.I.O.N.A2, Washtenaw County and other faith communities makes the warming centers possible for the next four months (December 2018 - March 2019).

The warming center is really a very easy, peaceful, good thing to get people off the streets and feeling safe. “It’s not about coffee. It’s about a roof,” said Brian, a 62-year-old veteran who is on a waiting list for an apartment. “The warming center is for survival.”

We want people to know they matter. Serving shows people that they matter to us and that, more importantly, everyone matters to God.  Join us!

"Lord, teach me how to celebrate you, share your blessings with others, and carry my faith into my daily life."

sunday Worship at 10:30AM

We are deeply aware of our call to share in the good news that God is love and that Christ is in all.  We worship as an expression of our love for God. Worship takes our eyes off the busyness of our lives and turns us to God.

God doesn’t need our worship; we do. Worship is seeing afresh the tremendous worth of God, and in response, giving God the best of everything we are.

Learn more about this Sunday’s message and the “overwhelming, never-ending reckless love of God.”

"Because Your love is better than life, I will praise You.  I will praise You as long as I live ..."  –Psalm 63:3

Community Groups

The Bible is loaded with “one another” statements — like “love one another,” “encourage one another, “bear another’s burdens,” “live in harmony with one another,” “be at peace with one another,” and “serve one another.”

We’re made to need each other, whether our actions are heroic or not. People doing life alone might be missing something really wonderful. Community Groups can move us to love, support one another and do good works. Bonded together by our love for God we can be something more — even without the cape or superpowers.

"God wants in on our lives and wants us in on the lives of others."
