Discipleship is at the heart of volunteering which is rooted in Jesus’ love for His disciples.  The last night Jesus was with his friends, he shared the Passover meal with them. Then Jesus washes the disciples’ feet – a gift of service from God.

Jesus knows a betrayal will come.  He prepares the disciples for his departure:  “Let me give you a new command:  Love one another.  In the same way I loved you — love one another.  Everyone will know you are my disciples when they see the love you have for each other.”

In the simple act of washing feet, Jesus creates a different kind of community rooted in love and service.

YServing offers the amazing opportunity to discover your God-given purpose, connect with others, and experience the thrill of God using you to bless others.

Please consider how you might be able to volunteer on a regular basis or in the short-term.

We appreciate your interest in volunteering.

"We ought not to be weary of doing little things for the love of God, who regards not the greatness of the work, but the love with which it is performed. — Brother Lawrence (c. 1614 – 1691)
