Community Groups

We believe Community Groups are a great environment for spiritual growth at Journey of Faith. They are the place where our mission as a church is best lived out: to be a caring family, influencing our community and world for Jesus Christ.

In these groups, people study God’s Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It’s also where people pray together, care for one another, and are missed if they don’t show up.

Community Groups are centered in scripture and song, open questions like: Who am I? Who am I in God? Who has God created me to be? How can I live to be my best self? By digging into these questions with others, we grow in community and discover answers we couldn't on our own.

Community Groups meet on the following days and times:

o   Every 3rd Thursday of the Month at Journey of Faith at 6:30. This group focuses on a shared passion for reading books, both fiction and non-fiction and are chosen by group members. Feel free to join the Journey Book Club group and bring a friend. More information about the “book of the month” can be found here.
o   Tuesdays at 2:00PM at the church. This group studies the Bible and explores deeper understandings of scripture and its relevancy for today’s living.
o   Thursdays at 7:00PM. This group meets at local restaurants. It’s a safe place to enjoy a good meal, study the Bible, talk about your faith, share your life, and ask tough questions.

We hope people will have a chance to connect meaningfully with God and others.

"Life is better connected."
